¡¡ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR FRANCESCO SOFO BA, Dip Ed, B Sp Ed, M Ed, PhD, FAHRI & FAIM ¡¡ Dr Sofo is Associate Professor of Human Resource Development at the University of Canberra. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and of the Australian Institute of Management. His career goal is to be the best he can in assisting in the learning and development of individual, teams and organizations. He has been director of HRD Centre, Head Educational Leadership and Professional Development and also the University Country Team Leader, Projects Development, USA & Canada. He has delivered lectures and seminars internationally at Warwick University, George Washington, Arkansas and Pittsburg State Universities, Hangzhou and Anhui Universities in China, the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and ESADE Business School in Barcelona. His publications include 9 books, 11 book chapters and over 100 published scholarly articles in journals or conference proceedings. He is editorial Board member and reviewer for several journals including: International Journal of Technology, Knowledge and Society; International Journal of Training and Development; Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources; and Journal of Knowledge-based Innovation in China. He won two American Society for Training and Development awards for leadership in research as the Forum Field Leader and has recently been a finalist for the Australian Human Resource Awards of ¡®KPMG Award for Outstanding Contribution to HR¡¯ and in the HR Matters Award for Lifetime Achievement in HR. He supervises postgraduate students and conducts his own research into adult learning, leadership, innovation, white collar crime and executive decision making through comparing problem solving and ways of thinking across Chinese, Italian and Australian cultures. ¡¡ |
