Professor Andrzej H Jasinski, Phd, DD, is an industrial economist by education. Now he is head of Department of Innovation and Logistics, School of Management, University of Warsaw, Poland. He has been Visiting Fellow to Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex, Brighton, UK and Visiting Professor to Palumbo School of Business Administration, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA. He is a member of The European Association of the Study on Science and Technology (EASST) and of CREST Working Group at The European Commission, Brussels. Now he is a team leader of a research project on Methods of transforming the research results into practical applications. He was an editor and co-author of Innovation in Transition: The Case of Poland, The Warsaw University Press, Warsaw, 2003 and an author of eight articles in Science and Public Policy.
