Professor FRANCIS R. ILLE

Professor Ille teaches international marketing and selling at the International University of Monaco, one of the world top MBA programs according to the Economist.

He spent his business career with Procter & Gamble and IBM, in various management positions in sales and marketing with a strong international positioning in Africa (Cameroon and Gabon) for five years, USA for three years, Indian Ocean (Mauritius and Reunion) for four years, Middle East (UAE) for three years and Europe (France and Belgium).

After his early retirement from IBM, he moved to Academia, being a professor at IUM for the last twelve years but also teaching at Shanghai Jiao Tong University for Shanghai Centre of Quality of Management with Professor Xu Zhi Yi and with Dean Dai Hua at Ocean University of China in Qingdao. He also gave lectures at the University of Miami at Coral Gables, at Newcastle Business School, University of Northumbria, UK, Facult¨¦ des Lettres de Nice, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Nice, France, Institut Sup¨¦rieur de la Magistrature in Rabat, Morocco, South East Europe University at Tetovo, University of Bitola, Macedonia, Ecole Nationale d¡¯Administration in Libreville, Gabon. Ferghana International Management Institute in Ferghana, Uzbekistan.

For his consulting career with TFSI and Thales, he was an expert for a dozen of missions of privatization of the public sector with the TACIS programs of the European Commission in Uzbekistan, Armenia and Morocco.
In the last two years he was involved in support to development of the private sector in the Western Balkans and recently wrote the recension of the book ¡°From Welfare to Workfare states on the Balkans¡±.
He is presently working on the branding process of Chinese exporting enterprises.

Professor Ille received a Licence ¨¨s-Sciences Physiques (BSc. in Physics) from Facult¨¦ des Sciences de Marseille, France, and a diplome d¡¯Ing¨¦nieur from Ecole Centrale de Marseille. He lives in Nice on the French Riviera.
