Paul Iles is a
Running Stream Professor at Leeds Business School, Leeds Metropolitan
University. A chartered psychologist, associate Fellow of the British
Psychological Society and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute
foe Personnel and Development, he previously held chairs at Teesside and
Liverpool John Moores Universities and a senior lectureship at the Open
University. His research interests are in international HRM/D,
leadership, talent management, careers and management development, and
he has recently published in the International Journal of HRM, Human
Resource Development International, Systems Research and Behavioural
Sciences, Employee Relations, the International Journal of Public
Services, Leadership and the Journal of Technology Management in China.
He has recently carried out funded research with the Learning and Skills
Council on world-class comparisons in HRD, the Standards Board for
England on the support and development needs of monitoring officers and
the Academy of Chief Executives (North East) on executive development,
and has delivered masterclasses on coaching, mentoring, leadership and
lifelong learning for the Institute of Directors and Rotherham Council
and Leeds Business Incubator. He currently teaches on the MBA in
Strategic Leadership and the MA in Cross-cultural HRM (Full-time,
Emerald Publishing, and ZJUT Hangzhou) and is the co-editor for the
Journal of Organisational Transformation and Social Change, assistant
editor for the Journal of Technology Management in China, and on the
editorial boards of the Journal of Managerial Psychology and the Journal
of European Industrial Training. |
