李菜园清田小学位于贾寨镇东三公里处，学校始建于1940年，已有68年的历史。多年来，该校为国家培养了一大批有用人材，同时也为上一级学校输送了一批批有用人材，包括本科生、研究生、博士生。解放初期，李菜园清田小学培养的学生光是从事教育事业的就有20多人。六十春秋，人才辈出。
李菜园村共辖两个自然村人口1870人，适龄儿童176人。李菜园清田小学在校生154人，其余适龄儿童在外校就读，共有6个教学班，专任教师9人，建筑面积450平方米，其中D级危房9间180平方米。早在2000年，全校校舍都被上级主管部门定为D级危房，要求停止使用。可是由于种种原因，危房一直没有得到改造，师生们不得冒着危险在危房里学习。在2004年，村委会通过各方面努力，筹集资金10万元，新建教室11间共275平方米(见照片)。根据目前的现状，仍有3个教学班在D级危房里上课，还缺少电教室、仪器室，共需教室14间，需要资金15万元。鉴于此，李菜园全村1870名父老乡亲及李菜园清田小学160多名师生真切期盼社会各界的大力支持和捐助。

The Tsing Tian Primary School at Village Licaiyuan, established in 1940, has a history of 48 years. This school has provided a solid foundation for and developed many talented young people, who could continue their further studies, including bachelors, masters and PhD programmes.
In recent years, the physical condition of School accommodation has been greatly improved. However, for various reasons, the facility of the School has yet been in the appropriate safety and security standard. The School is seeking various support and sponsorship from home and abroad
