Special Issue for

University-Industry-Government Triple Helix in China
Call for Papers
Organizing and managing innovation in a
knowledge-based economy has become an increasingly
important issue in advanced industrial and
developing societies, alike. China, where a stable
and high growth rate has been attained in recent
years, represents a unique setting for investigating
various forms of reforms and innovations in a
developing country. The special issue is intended
to provide an interdisciplinary forum on
university-industry-government Triple Helix
relations for academics, industrial practitioners,
government officers and policy makers.
Papers may be either conceptual or empirical,
exploring the challenges and issues in local,
regional and national innovation of China.
Conceptual papers should develop strong arguments
and new theoretical perspectives on issues related
to Triple Helix concepts and its implications in the
China context. The empirical papers should included
a comprehensive review and critical analysis of
existing literature, an elaboration of research
design with methodological issues, a focused
discussion of empirical findings and appropriate
conclusions with policy implications. Papers
submitted may include the following areas in the
context of China:
1.
